How to Use This Canvas

1️⃣ Start with Context (Why?)

Explain your business situation or opportunity. This helps your team understand why this OKR matters and connects it to strategy.

2️⃣ Define One Clear Objective

Write a short, inspirational goal. Not measurableβ€”just directional. Example: "Become the market leader in customer experience" vs. "Improve NPS from 45 to 70".

3️⃣ Create 2-4 Key Results

For each KR, define a measurable outcome. Include a baseline (current state) and target (goal). Focus on outcomes, not outputs. βœ— "Launch 5 features" β†’ βœ“ "Increase DAU from 50K to 80K".

4️⃣ List 2-4 Initiatives

Break down the work needed to achieve the KRs. Assign owners and deadlines. These are the actual projects your team will execute.

5️⃣ Assess Confidence & Risk

Set a realistic confidence level (70% is the sweet spot). Identify blockers and dependencies early.

6️⃣ Print & Share

Use the print button to save as PDF. Share with your team, leadership, and keep it visible throughout the quarter.
